Information om krav gällande reservationsbelopp vid tankning via kontoautomat
VISA och Mastercard har infört krav som gäller för samtliga drivmedelsbolag i Sverige. Varje gång du ska tanka via en kontoautomat utomhus, skickas en så kallad auktorisationsförfrågan på 1 500 kronor till kortutgivaren (VISA eller Mastercard) så fort du fört in kortet i terminalen och knappat in din pinkod. Kortutgivaren talar direkt om för kontoautomaten om det finns minst 1 500 kr på kontot eller inte. Här nedan har vi förtydligat vad som sker beroende på vilket saldo som finns på kontot:
Saldo minst 1 500 kr: I det fall kortutgivaren svarar kontoautomaten att det finns minst 1 500 kr på kontot, reserveras hela beloppet (1 500 kr) av kortutgivaren (VISA eller Mastercard). Så fort tankningen är avslutad ska kortutgivaren ta bort reservationen och ersätta denna med det belopp som det faktiskt har tankats för. Om du t.ex. tankar för 400 kr ändras således reservationen från 1 500 kr till 400 kr och differensen på 1 100 kr görs tillgängligt på kontot igen. Du debiteras för köpet i samband med att transaktionen registreras på kortet/kontot. Om reservationen mot förmodan inte tagits bort, rekommenderar vi att du kontaktar din kortutgivare som kan hjälpa dig att ta bort reservationen.
Saldo understiger 1 500 kr: Det går självklart bra att tanka och betala med kort där kontosaldot är mindre än 1 500 kr. Då reserveras istället kvarvarande saldo på kontot. Så fort tankningen är avslutad ska kortutgivaren ta bort reservationen och ersätta denna med det belopp som det faktiskt har tankats för. Om reservationen mot förmodan inte tagits bort, rekommenderar vi att du kontaktar din kortutgivare som kan hjälpa dig att ta bort reservationen.
VISA and Mastercard have introduced requirements that apply to all fuel companies in Sweden. Every time you are intending to fill up and pay via a payment terminal outside, a so-called authorization request of 1 500 SEK is sent to the card issuer (VISA or Mastercard) as soon as you insert the card into the terminal and enter your pincode. The card issuer will automatically respond to the payment terminal directly if there is at least 1 500 SEK in the account or not. Below we have clarified what happens depending on the balance on the account:
Balance at least 1 500 SEK: In the event that the card issuer responds to the payment terminal that there is at least 1 500 SEK in the account, the entire amount (1500 SEK) is reserved by the card issuer (VISA or Mastercard). As soon as the refueling is completed, the card issuer must remove the reservation and replace it with the amount for which has actually been refueled. If you e.g.fill upp your car for 400 SEK, the reservation is then changed from 1 500 SEK to 400 SEK and the difference of 1 100 SEK is made available on the account again. You are charged for the purchase in connection with the transaction being registered on the card/account. If the reservation has not been removed, we recommend that you contact your card issuer who can help you remove the reservation.
Balance less than 1 500 SEK: It is of course fine to refuel and pay by card where the account balance is less than 1 500 SEK. Then the remaining balance on the account is instead reserved. As soon as the refueling is completed, the card issuer must remove the reservation and replace it with the amount for which it has actually been refueled. If the reservation has not been removed, we recommend that you contact your card issuer who can help you remove the reservation.
